A recent news article suggests that the key to keeping Gen Zs happy is technology. Communicate via Messenger, that’s the ticket! The simple truth is that there’s no simple truth.
Gen Ys aren’t needy and disloyal. They’re simply the first generation to enter a work environment where the balance of power has shifted from employer to employee – and they were raised to speak their mind. Gen Zs won’t stay at a job just because you text instead of talk to them.
The simple truth is that we need to take a more customised approach to manage all individuals – regardless of their generations. There’s nothing simple about that.
