International Women’s Day 2022: Boards need to drop the gender bias.
Laura Grierson, director of mining and metals-focused executive search firm Acacia, has had more discussions with females looking to step into an MD or CEO role in the past year than she has in the entirety of her career.
That’s despite the firm’s figures showing that of all managing director and CEO appointments to ASX-listed mining and metals companies between July and December last year, just six per cent were female.
