We work collaboratively with our clients to pitch stories that appeal to the media, increasing the chances media will pick it up and run with it. We don’t pay lip service to our clients – if we think your story needs a case study, some data, images or another media asset to make it the perfect pitch, we will help you refine it.

We pitch editorial content to media, meaning we don’t send them press releases and we don’t write any more words to time-poor media than we need to. We know the media, the platforms, the journalists and producers, the programs and the shows around the country, and we know the kind of stories each of them tells. We deliver content ideas to these outlets and expert talent that we know will appeal.

We share our knowledge and pitching expertise with our clients through the ongoing mentoring and guidance element of our membership programs. We equip you with the contacts and skills to become the go-to expert in your field.

Brief History

When Nic Hayes founded Media Stable in 2012, he designed the business model to service a market that had largely been ignored by PR – micro and small business owners. At the same time, he recognised that newsrooms around the country were shrinking rapidly and needed more editorial style content delivered to them directly.

And so, the Media Board was born. Nic and the Media Stable team established the Media Board as a resource for media, delivering tomorrow’s stories and content tonight, and quickly developed a long media subscriber list.

Nic’s extensive background in media monitoring and traditional PR in Australia and overseas meant he had long standing relationships with media around the country. They came to Media Stable seeking expert commentators for their stories and our stable of experts grew quickly in response to the growing demand.
